Cider Winders 5K

We are over the moon to present our latest venture - the Cider Winders 5K.
We have teamed up with 1818 Cidery & Farm, Rotary Club of West Ottawa, and Bustukah to stage a mid-summer event in support of the Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre.
The Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre (DSYTC) is a non-profit, live-in, and community-based agency that is dedicated to helping youth (13-21) and families across Ontario overcome substance use and related issues and to achieve a healthier lifestyle. With separate evidence-based programs tailored to the specific needs of youth, it is the only Centre of its kind in Eastern Ontario.
The Rotary Club of West Ottawa will match pledges up to $2,500 from our registration page. Please consider supporting the Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre.
Join us on July 22, 2026 at 1818 CIdery & Farm (1811 Richardson Side Road) for a 5km run along the country roads of South Carp. We are offering commemorative glasses for registered runners, monetary prizes for the top 3 female and male finishers, draw prizes and the “best race prize ever” in the form of a custom-made t-shirt quilt from your t-shirts.

Welcome to the FGTRS

Welcome to the Forest Gumpers Trail Race Series.
This is our 3rd year offering our races. Events are held on the second Tuesday of each month, running from May through August, offering a perfect evening escape to the trails.
May 12 (Bell High, 40 Cassidy Road)
June 9 (Trail 10, Shirley's Bay, Carling Avenue)
July 14 (Bell High)
August 11 (Bell High)
Start time: 6:30 pm
$10/race (Youth 18 & under free)
We will also be staging a 1K run for you 5-11 years old on an out and back route. No charge, just sign up your child on race day and they can record their time at the finish, just read the clock.
Refreshments immediately after the race. Bug spray available before the race.
As in previous years, those who registered and run (or volunteer - email us) for all 4 events will have their name drawn for a custom-made t-shirt quilt from your t-shirts.
